Left to right: Stella Li, Executive Vice President of BYD; and Tim Albertsen, Group CEO of Ayvens This extension builds on the Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) signed in 2024, which established the foundation for collaboration between the two companies to distribute electric passenger cars and light commercial vehicles to corporate and retail customers throughout Europe. Under the expanded agreement, Ayvens will provide full-service leasing solutions through the BYD dealership network, offering operational leasing services tailored for small and medium-sized enterprises (SMEs) and private individuals. The partnership aims to combine Ayvens’ expertise in leasing with BYD’s innovation and strength in electric vehicle production, delivering bespoke mobility solutions suited to the specific needs of each market. Clients will have access to BYD’s comprehensive lineup of electric vehicles, including those under its new premium brand, DENZA. Services will include advisory support, operational leases, and complete charging solutions, providing end-to-end fleet electrification options. “An important element of our strategy in Europe is to partner with key specialists across the industry, and these new agreements allow us to build on what is already proving a successful offering in four markets,” said Stella Li, Executive Vice-President of BYD. “We are determined to make our sustainable technologies accessible to as many people as possible, and we look forward to working with Ayvens to offer attractive leasing solutions in seven additional countries.” Tim Albertsen, Group Chief Executive Officer at Ayvens, added, “We are delighted to extend our partnership with BYD into these seven new countries, further showcasing our leadership in the full-service vehicle leasing sector in Europe. “This initiative fully illustrates our dedication to supporting our partners with best-in-class white-label leasing services, fostering mutual growth and success.” The expansion brings the number of participating countries to eleven, building on successful partnerships already established in Belgium, France, Luxembourg, and the Netherlands. It also reinforces Ayvens’ role in full-service leasing partnerships, with over 100 agreements in place across 18 car manufacturers and operations spanning 31 countries.
