Appointments Sponsored by Appointments Ayvens appoints Roderick Jorna to newly created role Published: 22nd October 2025 Share Ayvens has announced the appointment of Roderick Jorna as Chief Remarketing and Asset Management Officer, a newly created executive position effective 1st November 2025. Currently serving as Chief People Officer, Jorna will remain a member of Ayvens’ Executive Committee. In his new role, Jorna will lead the development and implementation of Ayvens’ vehicle asset management strategy, designed to enhance flexibility and optimise the use of the Group’s funded fleet at contract end, particularly for electric vehicles (EVs). He will oversee the expansion and industrialisation of Ayvens’ multicycle leasing model globally and further strengthen the company’s used car sales capabilities through Ayvens Carmarket, the Group’s global remarketing platform active in 38 countries, as well as other sales channels. Jorna brings a strong track record in strategy, finance, and transformation to the new role. He began his career at McKinsey & Company, where he spent nine years advising financial institutions on strategy, corporate finance, and major transformation projects. He joined LeasePlan in 2017 as Finance Director for Central & Eastern Europe, later becoming Finance Director for LeasePlan France in 2020, where he also managed insurance, IT, data management, and legal and compliance. In 2022, he was appointed Integration Leader for LeasePlan, jointly establishing an integration management office with ALD Automotive ahead of the companies’ merger. Following the creation of Ayvens, he took on the role of Chief People Officer in 2023. Tim Albertsen, Group Chief Executive Officer of Ayvens, said: “With this new appointment, Ayvens intends to enhance the value of its funded fleet by increasing vehicle utilisation, while supporting the circular economy—particularly by improving access to affordable used electric vehicles—and by effectively managing the risks linked to the EV transition. I know that Roderick’s considerable experience and expertise, business knowledge and strong leadership in major transformations will be key assets to successfully develop Ayvens’ vehicle asset management strategy and contribute to the Group’s overall business and financial performance.” Lisa Laverick Editor - Asset Finance Connect Sign up to our newsletter Featured Stories Corporate Member AppointmentsTime Finance appoints Julian Cassen to support South East SMEs AppointmentsPulse Finance appoints new Business Development Manager AppointmentsSOFICO strengthens Board of Directors with Yves Bonnefont
