Appointments Sponsored by Appointments Anna Watt joins VAMOS as Head of Cloud Architecture Published: 30th October 2025 Share VAMOS has appointed Anna Watt as Head of Cloud Architecture, strengthening the company’s technical team as demand grows for its AI operations assistant Lucero. Watt joins VAMOS from insurance technology start-up Hyperexponential, where she specialised in cloud architecture and deployment. With nearly a decade of experience across a variety of technical roles, Watt’s expertise encompasses cloud infrastructure management, system integration, and scalable architecture design – capabilities that align directly with VAMOS’s integration-first approach to AI implementation. Watt also brings experience delivering technology for the asset finance sector in particular, having previously worked as a solutions architect at Alfa for five years, where she designed and developed integrations between key business systems across cloud and on-premise deployments. VAMOS provides its Lucero AI-powered operations tool as a Software-as-a-Service (SaaS) offering built on Google Cloud, and Watt will play a pivotal role in ensuring the Lucero cloud platform is scalable and robust as they onboard customers across the UK and Europe. Comment on the appointment, Richard Huston, Managing Director of VAMOS, said: “I’m delighted to have Anna join us at this key point in our growth. “Having worked with Anna in the past, I know that she has exactly the right mix of skills and experience that we need to build out our Lucero SaaS offering to handle a growing number of customer deployments and a wide variety of system integrations.” Commenting on her new role, Watt said: “I couldn’t be more excited about joining such a brilliant team at VAMOS. Working at the leading edge of AI development means we’re constantly exploring new capabilities, but also learning to apply them thoughtfully where they add genuine value. And it’s wonderful to return to asset finance, an industry that’s consistently been so open and welcoming.” Lisa Laverick Editor - Asset Finance Connect Sign up to our newsletter Featured Stories Corporate Member AppointmentsTime Finance appoints Julian Cassen to support South East SMEs AppointmentsPulse Finance appoints new Business Development Manager AppointmentsSOFICO strengthens Board of Directors with Yves Bonnefont
