Alta Group strengthens vendor finance and as-a-service expertise

The Alta Group, a global consultancy dedicated to the equipment finance industry, announced the expansion of its Strategy and Competitive Alignment Practice with the addition of two seasoned executives, Ellen Comeaux and John Sullivan.

The move reinforces Alta’s focus on vendor finance, consumption-based models, and operational transformation, strategic areas of growing importance amid a rapidly evolving market.

Comeaux and Sullivan join Alta as directors, bringing decades of industry leadership and deep experience in commercial finance, as-a-service strategies, and business transformation.

Ellen Comeaux most recently served as Senior Vice President and leader of the Commercial Division at EverBank, where she oversaw both the Vendor Equipment Finance and Commercial Real Estate lines of business.

With over 30 years of experience in commercial finance and banking, Comeaux brings deep knowledge of credit underwriting, strategic development, and operational optimization. Her track record includes driving revenue and profit growth through strategic planning, process improvement, and business transformation.

John Sullivan joins Alta after more than 25 years at Cisco Systems Capital, where he held several global leadership roles.

He played a key role in the development of “Open Pay,” Cisco’s pioneering consumption-based financing model. Sullivan’s areas of expertise include structured project financing, pricing, contracts, sales enablement, financial product innovation, and end-to-end operational execution.

By strengthening its advisory capabilities in vendor finance and consumption-based solutions, Alta aims to deliver even more actionable insights for clients seeking to evolve their business models and stay competitive.
