Alphabet (GB) launches self-service vehicle quote and order tool for UK SMEs

Alphabet (GB), a fleet mobility provider, has launched a new digital self-service platform aimed at small and medium-sized enterprises (SMEs) in the UK. The new tool, called Alphabet Motion, allows business users to research vehicles, configure specifications, access lease offers, conduct finance checks, and place orders online without the need for direct sales interaction.

The platform is designed to offer 24/7 access, enabling users to select vehicles from a wide range of manufacturers using filtering options.

Customers can view options without creating an account initially, but will need to complete identity and credit checks before submitting an order.

According to Alphabet, the tool streamlines the previously manual processes involved in leasing vehicles for business purposes. Orders can be placed entirely through the platform, although customers still have the option to consult with a sales representative if needed.

Ian Turner, Chief Sales Officer at Alphabet (GB), said the development reflects a demand for more flexible and efficient services in the SME sector.

“Customers expect a seamless, hassle-free journey, and to have the ability to self-serve at any time,” Turner said.

Vicki Bovington, General Manager of Process Management & Quality at Alphabet (GB), added that the platform was developed in response to customer feedback.

“It enables us to offer faster response times, personalised interactions and self-service options,” she said.

Alphabet Motion is part of Alphabet’s broader digital strategy and is already being used to support some corporate customers. The company expects the tool to support further growth by expanding its customer base and product offerings.
