Leasys has announced significant changes in the management team of Leasys Spain, the most notable being the appointment of Alejandro Barrau as the new CEO.

This strategic move aims to strengthen Leasys Spain’s leadership in the mobility solutions sector, advance the company’s digital transformation, and foster a more sustainable system.

Alejandro Barrau brings over twenty years of experience in sales, corporate sales, mobility services, after-sales, dealer development, and marketing (customer experience and online sales) within the European rental sector. His innovative vision and in-depth knowledge of the industry are seen as crucial to guiding Leasys towards sustained growth and operational excellence.

Barrau joined Leasys eight years ago as Sales & Marketing Manager and most recently served as Deputy Executive Director and Commercial Director.

“I would like to thank Leasys for the opportunity to lead its operations in Spain, where it already has solid foundations and an exciting horizon,” said Alejandro Barrau.

“Through teamwork, commitment, and responsibility, I will work to create a positive, productive, and communicative work environment, from which we can achieve all the goals we set ourselves.”

Alongside Barrau’s appointment, Leasys Spain has restructured its management team to further optimise operations and enhance efficiency.

David García Carrascal has been named Director of Operations, tasked with leading teams focused on results and optimising operational processes.

Diego García-Escudero Vázquez, previously National Key Account Manager in Leasys’ commercial team, will now serve as Commercial Director.

García-Escudero is recognised for his ability to design and execute commercial strategies, and he will be responsible for consolidating the company’s market position and expanding business opportunities across all channels.

Additionally, Luis Torres Morales joins the Leasys management team as Regulatory Compliance and Risk Director.

Torres brings a wealth of experience, having previously held the position of Director of Legal & Compliance at BMW Bank.
