Get ready for an unforgettable experience! The AFPA Trust BIG Cycle 2025 promises to be the largest-ever organised cycle ride in the asset finance industry—combining challenge, camaraderie, and breathtaking scenery into one epic adventure.

The journey: London to Paris

From 10th-13th July 2025, cyclists will embark on an incredible three-day journey from the heart of London to the iconic landmarks of Paris.

Riders of all experience levels are welcome, with guided groups led by professional cyclists offering different paces to accommodate everyone. Whether you’re a seasoned rider or tackling your first long-distance event, this iconic challenge is designed for you.

The BIG Cycle itinerary is:

Wednesday, 9th July: Participants arrive in London, check into their hotel, and meet fellow riders ahead of the grand departure.
Thursday, 10th July: The adventure begins with a 140 km ride through scenic English countryside, finishing in Calais after a ferry crossing.
Friday, 11th July: Riders cover 160 km from Calais to Amiens, enjoying stunning landscapes en route to this historic city.
Saturday, 12th July: The final 140 km stretch takes cyclists to Paris, culminating in a triumphant arrival at an iconic landmark.
Sunday, 13th July: Participants return to London via Eurostar, celebrating their achievement with new friends and lasting memories.

Participation & costs

There are three ways to take part:

Fundraiser Package: £350 entry fee + £1,500 minimum fundraising commitment.
Part-Funded Package: £350 entry fee + £900 self-funding (due 10th June 2025) + £650 minimum fundraising.
Self-Funded Package: £1,950 total cost (£350 deposit + £1,600 due by 10th June 2025), no fundraising requirement.

All fundraising proceeds go directly to AFPA Trust, which donated £99,390 to 26 charities in 2024. Riders exceeding their fundraising minimums may share excess funds with a chosen charity (subject to approval).

Front of Shirt (Start, Day 2, Finale) – £2,750 each.
All Days Shirt Arm (per arm) – £2,750.
All Days Back of Shirt – £1,750.
