AerCap appoints new board member and reappoints CEO

Aviation leasing specialist AerCap Holdings N.V. announced key changes to its Board of Directors following its Annual General Meeting of Shareholders (AGM) held on April 16, 2025.

Victoria (Vicky) Jarman was appointed as a Non-Executive Director, bringing significant experience in financial management and corporate governance.

The Board also approved the re-appointment of five directors, including Chairman Paul T. Dacier and CEO Aengus Kelly, as well as James Lawrence, Jennifer VanBelle, and Michael Walsh, all for four-year terms.

At the same time, Richard (Michael) Gradon retired from the Board after 15 years of service. He was originally appointed in connection with AerCap’s acquisition of Genesis and has been recognised for his long-standing contribution to the company’s growth.

Aengus Kelly, Chief Executive Officer of AerCap, said, “I am delighted to welcome Vicky Jarman to the Board.

“Vicky brings extensive financial management and governance experience with large publicly listed entities and financial institutions, which the Board of Directors of AerCap believe will greatly benefit the Company. I would also like to congratulate Paul Dacier on his re-appointment as Chairman of the Board for a further four years. Paul’s extensive experience and valuable contributions as Chairman have been of tremendous value to AerCap.

Michael joined us in connection with the Genesis acquisition and has played a key role in AerCap’s journey to become the number one lessor in the world,” added Kelly.
