Acquis to quiz for cancer charity at the AFPA Trust Big Quiz

Acquis Data Services, one of the sponsors of the AFPA Trust Big Quiz, are hoping to take home the Rivermore Trophy and win £10,000 for their chosen charity – Action Bladder Cancer UK.

Acquis have decided to support Action Bladder Cancer UK as Acquis has a personal connection to the charity. Holly Lloyd-Roberts, Underwriter Executive at Acquis, lost her father just before Christmas to bladder cancer, after being diagnosed in June 2022.

Action Bladder Cancer UK want bladder cancer to be recognised as a common cancer and to receive the acknowledgement, level of public awareness, improvements in treatments and medical research investment which it merits and which those with bladder cancer deserve. The charity wants bladder cancer patients to have a voice and the support they and their families require.

Holly commented: “I feel it’s my duty to continue my father’s legacy and educate people through fundraising about bladder cancer so this stops other families having to go through the same heartbreak.”
